Ousman Jobe achieves Personal Bests at 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest (Hungary)

Gambia Aquatics proudly commends national swimmer Ousman Jobe for his strong performance at the 2024 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), held from 10 to 15 December 2024 in Budapest, Hungary.

Competing among the world’s top athletes in the short-course format (i.e., 25m pool), Ousman recorded two new personal bests in freestyle sprint events:

  • 100m Freestyle1:04.03 minutes (Personal Best)

  • 50m Freestyle26.82 seconds (Personal Best)

These results highlight Ousman’s steady progress and adaptability on the international stage. His consistent improvement throughout 2024 continues to raise the profile of Gambian swimming and reflects the hard work being invested by athletes and coaches alike.
